The Cricket Pitch

Bouncy tracks for pace bowling;

She was designed for it.

Expect the injuries with the bounce.

Soft pitches for spin bowling.

She can turn the balls.

Into the middle stumps;

With leg spins and off spins.

At times, so artistically.

Art of deception; yet another trick.

Right pitch, desired result.

Dead pitches, batsmen dominate;

And the bowler’s life is in the gallery.
