Memory

What you remember is,

Not always what you see,

Not always what you hear,

Not always what you touch,

But what touches you.

Not all stories; not all actions.

An action may be special to others;

But normal to you.

You may link it with someone;

Call it memory by association.

At times, a pointer to a storage;

At times, the pointer feeble to you;

May be stronger to someone else.

Depends on conceived;

Depends on delivery of conceived.

At times, it’s just few minutes or few hours;

But intensity may be everlasting.

Impact is not a different story.

That’s burned memory on the rocks forever.

Wind blows from all directions.

Breathing has no choice.

Burnt memory is human choice;

Not of the rock.
